HANANINGEN Martinique, The Caribbean / マルティニーク カリブ海 by Emmanuelle Soundjata

hananingen

As a stylist specialized in eco-design from Martinique. It is quite natural that in my creative journey I came to use flowers in the composition of Marétèt (headwrap). Flowers represent fragility, sensitivity but also a certain form of power, robustness and sophistication , it is a natural element that naturally touches emotions and is accessible to all . There are all types of flowers and all are perfect and unique due to their imperfections. Being an artist very sensitive to my environment, flowers have always attracted me for all these reasons . My job is to create works of art on the head, the head the seat of thought.

Propose a paradigm that is most faithful to who I am and my origins. The flower symbol of hope, of the cultural riches of my country and above all the importance of living the present moment because the present moment is a real miracle . My Art is an ephemeral sculpture, powerful and fragile at the same time as flowers. My Art is bold and sensitive, just like flowers . Just like them, it is a story of Emotions. There is no boundary in the way I express my Art . Flowers contribute to the authenticity to the refinement of my work and of course specifies the artist I am; the one who always seeks to strive for excellence by making “beautiful” by nourishing me of the pure imperfections of our world .
